Teletouch Commications (TLLE) has been making a play as a growth story of late, following the settled resolution of litigation with AT&T (T) that filled the cash coffers with a few bucks, and that trend continued this week as the company announced that Cellphone-Mate, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of high quality wireless signal amplifiers and repeater systems, has signed a multi-year contract with Teletouch subsidiar, Progressive Concepts, Inc. dba PCI Wholesale, who will now become an exclusive "Master Distributor" of Cellphone-Mate products.

Cellphone-Mate is no slouch in the market, being the first entity to bring a 4G amplifier to the market, and has a high-profile following, as evidenced by the many Fortune 100 and 500 companies, including Hewlett-Packard, ExxonMobile and Newell-Rubbermaid, that use its products, in addition to the U.S. Military, State Department, and top universities such as Stanford and Duke.

The Cellphone-Mate deal follows multiple similar arrangements also announced over the past couple of months and adds to the recovery and growth plan implemented by Teletouch following the AT&T ordeal.

Interest and trading volume has been inching higher for TLLE shares, and this continues to be one worth monitoring as a potential growth play, especially if the new distribution deals keep rolling in at the current pace.
